  • Maintain transparent financial reporting and accountability.

Site & Operational Management

  • Lead on-site operations and logistics in remote or bush locations.

  • Oversee camp infrastructure, workforce accommodation, and site welfare.

  • Conduct inspections, progress reviews, and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.

Stakeholder & Team Relations

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure project alignment.

  • Mentor and lead diverse multicultural teams with respect and collaboration.

  • Build strong relationships with local communities and contractors, respecting local regulations and customs.

Technical & Administrative Oversight

  • Manage reporting, documentation, and record-keeping across project phases.

  • Prepare progress and completion reports, audits, and lessons-learned reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8–10 years’ experience in construction or maintenance project management, ideally in Africa.

  • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Project Management.

  • Proven record in survey, refurbishment, or infrastructure projects.

  • Experience working in remote or camp-based environments is a strong advantage.

  • Solid understanding of HSE, budgeting, and contractor management.

  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and construction management tools.

  • Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel extensively.

Key Competencies

  • Strong leadership and decision-making under challenging conditions.

  • Excellent communication and cross-cultural management skills.

  • Financial discipline, organizational ability, and attention to detail.

  • Adaptable, practical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of an African language (e.g., Swahili, Afrikaans, Zulu, or French) is an advantage.

  • Awareness of environmental and wildlife conservation practices is desirable.
