Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a talented Sales Manager on behalf of a confidential client to lead sales strategy and execution for a high-profile international event. The successful candidate will drive exhibitor and sponsor acquisition, build key industry relationships, and ensure revenue targets are achieved for a large-scale launch in Africa.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive participation and revenue for the event.

Identify and secure new business opportunities with exhibitors, sponsors, and partners across diverse industries.

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, trade associations, and commercial partners.

Negotiate and close exhibition and sponsorship packages, delivering against revenue targets.

Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and content teams to ensure a seamless client experience.

Represent the company at relevant industry events and networking forums.
About You

Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within large-scale events, exhibitions, or conferences.

Strong track record in securing sponsorships, exhibition sales, and partnerships.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Degree-level education and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Comfortable working to ambitious targets in a fast-paced, international environment.

Willingness to travel extensively across Africa and internationally as required.

CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) is highly desirable.
