What is your job?

The SPA Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SPA ensuring that all services are delivered to world-class standards. This role provides leadership to the

SPA team, maintains service quality, manages scheduling and operational procedures, and ensures exceptional guest satisfaction. The SPA Supervisor will play a key part in strengthening the reputation of the newly opened

SPA and supporting the development of a high-performing team.

Preference is given to national candidates; however, foreign applicants holding a valid Angolan residency card will also be considered.

Your Day-to-Day:

 Supervise daily SPA operations, ensuring all services meet InterContinental Hotels Group international

standards.

 Support and guide SPA Therapists in delivering exceptional treatments and guest experiences.

 Manage staff schedules, task assignments, and operational workflows.

 Conduct quality checks to maintain cleanliness, equipment care, and service consistency.

 Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.

 Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.

 Assist in training, coaching, and developing team members.

 Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and operational procedures of the hotel.

 Monitor inventory, request supplies, and oversee stock control.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience supervising SPA, wellness, or beauty teams in a luxury environment.

 Knowledge of holistic therapies, wellness trends, and premium SPA products.

 First Aid / CPR certification.

 Ability to plan and support promotional offers, SPA packages, or wellness events.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in SPA or wellness operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

 Recognized certification in SPA therapies, wellness, beauty, or related fields.

 Fluency in English (essential for serving international guests).

 Angolan nationals preferred; foreign candidates with valid residency permits may also apply.

 Strong communication, empathy, and leadership skills.

 Commitment to professionalism, service excellence, and ethical work standards.

 At least 2 professional references with valid contact information.
